Sir Billy Boston, Rugby Legend, Dies at 92

Sir Billy Boston, the first rugby league player to receive a knighthood, has died at age 92. The Welsh Rugby Union confirmed the news on Tuesday.

Boston was one of the finest players in rugby league history, scoring almost 500 tries for club and country. The Wigan Warriors legend became the first rugby league player to be knighted last year.

The Welsh Rugby Union described him as "one of the best loved and most iconic figures in the history of Welsh sport" following his peaceful death at 92. sport-newz.biz
