After an impressive first month with the Double-A San Antonio Missions, catcher Ethan Salas has returned to MLB Pipeline's top 100 prospects list at No. 100. The 20-year-old, who missed most of last season with a back injury, has worked on his physical conditioning and mental approach, reportedly gaining 15-20 pounds.
Salas joins LHP Kruz Schoolcraft (No. 78) as the only Padres prospects in the top 100. In other Padres system news, Ryan Wideman is ranked No. 4 by ESPN, while Lake Elsinore Storm leads the California League South Division with a 17-10 record. realschule-moosburg.de
