Pat Cummins offered massive AUD 12m deal to stay with Australia

Cricket Australia is reportedly offering Pat Cummins a massive AUD 12 million contract extension to keep him playing until 2029. The deal aims to counter the financial pull of global franchise leagues.

The proposed deal would see Cummins earn roughly AUD 4 million annually, significantly increasing his previous earnings of about AUD 9-10 million. It includes guaranteed money regardless of match play.

CA head James Allsopp noted the need to reward high-value stars like Cummins and Travis Head. This comes as Australia faces a demanding schedule of 21 Test matches over the next year. chickenroad.qpon
