Larson Leads Kernels to Second Place

Playing in Aberdeen, Larson's 3-over-par 75 included four birdies, while Childs also had four birdies in her round. Aberdeen Central's Kyley Wirebaugh won the individual competition with a 3-under-par 69, the second-best score by a South Dakota girl this spring.

Aberdeen Central dominated the team competition with a score of 295, followed by Mitchell at 323. The Kernels competed with only five golfers due to absences, with Londyn Hajek (83, ninth) and Kate Schutz (88, 15th) also contributing.
