Braves place Acuña on IL with hamstring injury

The Atlanta Braves have placed star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. on the 10-day injured list with a strained left hamstring.

Acuña left Saturday night's game against Colorado in the second inning after pulling up while running out a ground ball. The five-time All-Star and 2023 NL MVP was batting .252 with two home runs and seven steals for the Braves, who had baseball's best record at 24-10. realschule-moosburg.de

The Braves activated right-hander Spencer Strider from the injured list for his season debut and selected outfielder José Azócar's contract from the minors to replace Acuña.
