A broadcast dispute has erupted over Duke's landmark streaming deal with Amazon, as the Big Ten claims ownership of the neutral-site Duke vs Michigan game in New York.

The Big Ten notified the ACC and ESPN that the Dec. 21 game at Madison Square Garden falls under their rights agreement for neutral-site matchups in shared territory. While Duke, the ACC, and ESPN support the Amazon package, the league asserts it owns the broadcast rights. Sources indicate ESPN permitted Duke to proceed, but the opponent (Michigan) was responsible for securing rights.
