Bears Sign Wright to Record OT Deal

The Chicago Bears have extended All-Pro offensive tackle Darnell Wright to a four-year, $116 million contract with $93 million guaranteed, setting a new record for right tackles.

The extension makes Wright the highest-paid right tackle in NFL history and gives him the most guaranteed money for any offensive lineman. Selected 10th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, Wright quickly established himself as a cornerstone of the Bears' rebuild under general manager Ryan Poles.

His second-team All-Pro nod in 2025 marked the first time a Bears offensive lineman earned All-Pro honors since Kyle Long in 2014.
