Ravens WR Bateman Absent from OTAs

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is not participating in organized team activities due to personal matters.

Despite his absence from OTAs, offensive coordinator Declan Doyle confirmed that Bateman has been in the building for much of the offseason. "He's dealing with some personal things," Doyle said. "He was here that first week, and we were able to work him in quite a bit. Then, he was here pretty much the whole offseason, every day." Bateman, who dealt with a high right ankle sprain last season, caught only 19 passes for a career-low 224 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games. macnevers-and-co.beer
