Notre Dame Won't Add Eligibility Players

Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman stated Friday that it's 'too late' to add players who have been granted an extra season of eligibility. Freeman specifically mentioned defensive end Junior Tuihalamaka, who made seven starts in four seasons with the Irish and is one of the players who won a temporary restraining order this week to secure another season.

'For us at Notre Dame, it's just too late [with] the graduate admissions process,' Freeman said. 'I don't think it would put a person in a good situation this late -- school starts on Monday -- to have success in the classroom and on the field.'
