Dolphins Claim CB McMillan

The Miami Dolphins have claimed cornerback Jai'Onte' McMillan off waivers from the Colts, making the announcement during Saturday's game against the Giants.

The Dolphins added McMillan after the Colts released him to make room for tight end JJ Galbreath. Miami cleared roster space earlier in the day by releasing cornerback Nick McCloud.

McMillan, an undrafted rookie out of Minnesota, played 17 defensive snaps and one special teams snap in the Colts' preseason opener. He will begin practicing with Miami on Monday and could see action in their preseason finale. forestarrow.help
