Bills' Gardner-Johnson has calf strain

Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson received good news from an MRI that revealed a lower calf strain following his right leg injury during Saturday's practice. The seven-year veteran will miss practice time but has six weeks until the season opener.

Gardner-Johnson, signed by the Bills in free agency this offseason, had 66 tackles, three sacks, and two interceptions in 13 games last season with the Texans and Bears. chickenroad-game.rodeo
