Pajari Leads Finland After Ogier Crash

Toyota's Sami Pajari leads Rally Finland by 46.6 seconds after Sébastien Ogier crashed out of the lead position.

Toyota's Sami Pajari has taken command of Rally Finland with a 46.6s advantage after reigning world champion Sébastien Ogier suffered a frightening crash from the lead position. Ogier was in control of the rally, 20.9s clear when his Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 car went off the road at speed during stage 17.

The car rolled several times towards the trees, forcing Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia out of contention. Pajari now leads the event, with the remaining competitors chasing behind in what has become a dramatic turn of events in the Finnish rally. lebandit.lat
