Free agent TE Zach Ertz cleared for football activities

Free agent tight end Zach Ertz said in April that he didn't want his torn ACL to be the final act of his NFL career. He still is seeking an opportunity to make that wish come true.

Doctors have cleared Ertz for all football activities, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. That should clear the way for Ertz to find a new team. argolida.life

He is working out at Stanford with his former college quarterback, Andrew Luck.

Ertz, 35, tore the ACL in his right knee in a Dec. 7 game against the Vikings while playing for the Commanders.

In his 13th NFL season, Ertz made 50 catches for 504 yards and four touchdowns for Washington. He has also played games for the Eagles and Cardinals and has spent time with the Lions.

Epenesa Declines to Discuss Browns Deal; Stays With Eagles

The defensive end, a second‑round pick in 2020, had spent six seasons with the Buffalo Bills and was expected to bring veteran depth to the Browns’ pass rush.

Now with the Philadelphia Eagles, Epenesa told reporters he prefers not to revisit the situation, describing it as “weird.” He added that he feels very healthy and is content in Philadelphia, emphasizing that he is no longer a Brown and is happy to be an Eagle.
